Working with our insurance and industry partners, we strive to ensure our clients are compliant with jurisdictional regulations and codes applicable to the safe operation and maintenance of boilers and pressure vessels. CMI Services is accredited by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors as an NB-369 Authorized Inspection Agency. Furthermore, CMI Services is authorized by The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) to proudly perform jurisdictional inspection in the Provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Supported by our fully integrated inspection department, our AIA service capability can extend far beyond that of any traditional inspection service to include any and all or our full suite of inspection offerings.

About CMI Services Inspectors

Our inspectors are National Board Commissioned and maintain the appropriate provincial credentials for the jurisdiction in which they perform work. Furthermore, all CMI Services inspectors are industry professionals with decades of boiler and pressure vessel maintenance, inspection and operation experience in both owner/user and 3rd party support environments. All inspectors carry additional industry certifications from organizations such as API, CWB, CGSB, Nace, etc. and are capable of handling any inspection requirement our clientele demands from a truly holistic perspective.

About the Jurisdictional and Regulatory Industry

Regulated pressure equipment, including boilers and pressure vessels, are subject to Jurisdictional inspections in the Province which they operate. These inspections are intended to validate that equipment is being operated and maintained in accordance with Provincial regulations. Depending on the Province and/or jurisdiction with which the equipment is operated, the inspections are carried out by the Provincial Jurisdictional Authority or an Authorized Boiler Inspector acting on behalf of an insurance company providing Boiler and Machinery Insurance coverage.
